The Mirror in the Office

There once was a man named Jake.


He was good at sales.

He knew how to read the room, close the deal, smile at the right time.

He had the handshake, the pitch, the persona.


And everyone said,


“That guy’s a professional.”


But somewhere deep down, Jake felt tired.

Not the kind of tired a vacation could fix—

but the kind that comes from pretending.


Every day, he put on the mask:

• The confident voice

• The flawless script

• The high-performer who never broke


But behind closed doors, the voice in his head would whisper,


“Is this really me?”


One evening, after losing a deal he’d worked months for, Jake sat alone in his office.

No calls. No noise. Just silence.


He looked at his reflection in the dark window and didn’t see the closer.

He didn’t see the confident, polished professional.

He saw someone… real.

You were born as Presence.

As ‘I AM.’

You only put on the mask to fit the game.”

Still hit his targets.

Still showed up.


But now… he showed up as himself.


Not the mask.

Not the act.

But the man behind the mirror.


His words carried more weight.

His energy became magnetic.

His clients didn’t just trust his pitch—they trusted him.


Why?


Because he wasn’t performing anymore.


He was being.


The truth is this:


You don’t need to become someone else to succeed.


You just need to remember who you were

before you forgot.


And when you do?


You stop chasing approval—

and start attracting real connection.


You stop faking confidence—

and start living from Presence.


That’s when the game changes.


Not just in sales.

But in life.
