Yesterday I attended my friend Jarrett's father's funeral. I have known Jarrett and his father since I was a very little boy.

My friend Derek, also at the funeral, this morning in response to a text told me to "give your parents an extra hug today." He was reminding me to be grateful that they are both living.

I told him I would and then did the following in the video below. Simple acts make a big difference.

Everything happens for a reason and purpose.

I could have ignored the message, but instead, saw it as great advice and took action on it. Then this happened...
