🚗 Being in sales while wearing a mask is like driving with your GPS set to someone else’s destination.

Every day, I woke up and punched in the coordinates others expected of me:


  • What my clients wanted to hear

  • What my spouse needed me to be

  • What my kids might respect


I was driving fast… making calls, closing deals… but deep down, I felt off course.


Then one day I realized: No wonder I feel lost. I’ve never actually asked myself where I want to go.


That’s when I saw this quote:

“If I want to be free, I have got to be me.Not the me I think YOU think I should be.Not the me I think my SPOUSE thinks I should be.Not the me I think my KIDS think I should be.If I want to be free, I have got to be ME.So I better know who me is.”
💡 That hit hard.

In sales, we’re taught to mirror, adapt, adjust… but what if the real power is in alignment?


When I started showing up as me — not the polished version, not the script — the right people showed up. Deals flowed. Pressure dropped.


🚦New GPS, new results. Same vehicle. Different destination.


If you’re feeling off course — maybe it’s not your skills.Maybe you’re just not driving with your own map.
