Can you let go and enjoy the present moment? If you hold on to the past, isn't it really not the past but rather you are reliving it in the present? What are you grateful for in this present moment that will allow you to let go of the past?

when I'm at home, what helps me to be fully present and grateful in the now is to either put on some contemplative, slow background music without lyrics (e.g. "ambient music" by Brian Eno and Harold Budd) or for more energy momentum a good quality type of DJ dance club music also without lyrics... - even in another room next to me... because it reconnects me with the feeling of being totally in the now when out dancing or even just "chilling out" in a club... and yet at the same time I can do productive manual work at home...
And of course being out in nature and sunlight as much as possible helps me to be grateful in the now.
